First off is the Nike Training Club App. I really can’t say enough about this one. You choose whether you want to, “get lean, get toned, get strong, or get focused” and then you pick your level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). You receive dozens of fantastic HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts. They provide videos for each exercise to show you the correct form. After using these workouts for the last few weeks, I feel more toned and have more energy. Best of all – it’s FREE!
My next new favorite is “Couch to 10k“. The app coaches you to the point of running 10km (6.2 miles) using a 3-days-a-week workout program spanning 13 weeks. With the kids back in school, I’ll be using this app to help improve my distance.
Most of us want to whittle away our tummies and the Daily Ab Workout app helps with that. You have the choice of 5 minute, 7.5 minute or 10 minute ab workout. When you want to fit in a little exercise and don’t have much time, try out this great app.
