My Approach: To Help You Understand The “Why” Behind Your Health Concerns and Personalize a Plan for Your Individual Needs.
I know what it is like to struggle with disease and to be left frustrated and without answers by traditional healthcare. My goal is to give everyone I work with the hope and tools you need to live a healthier life.
In particular, I specialize in working with those dealing with thyroid, hormone, gut and adrenal issues and thyroid autoimmunity.
Hi! I’m Carrie Korem (Vitt), FNTP.
For years, I struggled with IBS and debilitating migraines, which had me taking three different medications. Transitioning to an organic diet full of whole, unprocessed foods brought medication-free relief, until an improperly removed amalgam filling left my thyroid with an overload of heavy metals.
For a year I was plagued by hives, fatigue, and dismissive doctors before being diagnosed with a thyroid autoimmune disease. With the help of a holistic nutritionist, a nutrient-dense diet, and a lifestyle that included gentle detoxification, stress reduction, and a focus on nutrition, I was finally able to find lasting healing and reversal of my health issues.
Along the way, I became fascinated by and passionate about how the body has the ability to heal itself when it’s given the proper tools.
So, I went back to school to earn a certification in Functional Nutrition Therapy, I was mentored by the holistic nutritionist who had helped me to return my body to alignment, started a blog and website called Deliciously Organic, and authored two cookbooks, all to in an effort to help others find better health.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your health journey!
Functional Nutritional Therapy Services
3-Month Functional Nutrition Membership – $1,200 investment made in three monthly payments.
The 3-month functional nutrition membership is designed for those who want a personalized approach for their ongoing health concerns. Here’s what the membership includes:
- Three in-person or virtual appointments with Carrie. Your first appointment with Carrie will be 1.5 hours. Carrie will go over your full health history, including any labs that you may have, and will answer any questions; then, she will develop a personalized protocol that includes diet, drainage or detox therapies (if needed), supplementation, and lifestyle change recommendations.
- Your next two monthly consults will be 50 minutes each. At each consult, Carrie will write a new protocol for you based on symptoms and/or changes in health. She will also consider any new labs – they are not necessary, but helpful.
- Email support – for quick questions that you may have in between appointments.
- Access to Carrie’s private thyroid health Facebook group where she does weekly live Q&A training sessions each week. So, if you have questions in between appointments, you have a place each week to come ask her!
- Access to a Resource Library that contains a wealth of resources that Carrie has created for you, including meal plans with shopping lists, recipes, supplementation support ideas for when you get a cold, flu, etc., detox protocols, healthy products lists, and more!
Important Notes:
- Before each consult, Carrie will send you a link with forms to fill out. The first month’s intake forms will take about 45 minutes to complete and the forms sent out the next 2 months will take about 10 minutes to complete. This will give Carrie information ahead of time about how you are feeling and specific things to talk about during your time together.
- You have four months to book your three appointments; I suggest booking them one month apart, but allow for a bit of extra time for scheduling purposes.
With follow-up appointments, consistency is key; the goal is healing, so that when you have completed your work with Carrie, you will have established new habits to support your health journey.
Non-Member Follow-Up Consult (50 minutes) – $325
- A virtual or in-person follow-up consult is a time when I will assess your progress and write you a new protocol according to your health needs. This appointment is available for clients who have completed a 3-month membership package.
Important Notes:
- Before each consult, I will send you a link with forms to fill out which will take about 10 minutes to complete. This will give me helpful information ahead of time about how you are feeling and specific things to talk about during your time together.
- If you have gotten any labs with your doctor (these are no necessary), send them to Carrie at least 48 hours before your appointment so she can look over them before your time together.

Do I Need to Book My Appointments 3 Months in a Row? Or Can I Stretch Them Out?
When you sign up for the membership, you will be billed each month, and you will have 4 months to complete all three consults with me. Consistency is key, so meeting once a month is very important. I do understand that sometimes there are reasons you need to cancel or reschedule, so this is why I give an additional month for you to complete all 3 membership consults.
With the Wellness Membership, which is available for those who have completed the Functional Nutrition Membership, You have nine months to schedule your three appointments.
Why Do You Require a 3 Month Minimum?
Healing takes time and you can’t fix or cover everything in one appointment. Consistency is also key. Meeting once a month will help you see better results and faster progress.
If I don’t use all of my consults for my 3 month membership within 4 months, will I still be billed for all 3? Yes, you will be billed once a month for 3 months.
Do you take insurance or HSA/FSA payments?
I am not able to take any payments via insurance or HSA/FSA. I can accept payments via credit card or debit card.

Do You Work with Women Who are Pregnant Or Nursing?
I do! I’ve worked with many clients throughout their pregnancy and postpartum. I will help craft a personalized protocol for you to help support your body during pregnancy and postpartum.
Hours:
Appointment times will be available Mondays and Thursdays, 10am-4pm CT.
Can You Diagnose?
No, I can not diagnose.
Do You Treat Disease?
No, I teach you the tools you need to help support your body at the foundational level: real food, whole food supplements, drainage or detox (if needed), and other lifestyle changes. Often, when we support the foundations such as digestion, the nervous system, the HPA-axis, detoxification, etc., the body slowly comes back into balance.
Do you prescribe medications and can someone who is on medications work with you?
I am not a medical practitioner, so I do not prescribe medications nor can I give advice on medications. Most of the clients I work with are on medications and they are able to incorporate the nutritional therapy I recommend. I always recommend informing your doctor of any supplements you are taking so that they can check for any contraindications or concerns.
Can You Order Labs for Me?
I cannot order labs, but most clients like to order them through their doctor, especially if it’s covered by insurance; you can also order most labs at TrueHealthLabs.com. When I look over your labs, I do not do so to diagnose. Instead, I use them to see where there might be some imbalance in the body and how we can best support that imbalance with nutrition.
Do you offer email support in between appointments?
If you have a question that involves a 1-2 sentence answer, feel free to send it over to me via email. If it requires more than 1-2 sentences, I ask that you book a 15-minute phone call, so that I can get out your file, review your situation, and then best answer your questions.
Also, please do not direct message me on social media when asking a question about your protocol; account names and profile pictures can become confusing, and I want to be able to best serve you! Email or booking a consult is the best way to contact me.
Do you Recommend Specific Supplements?
Yes. Based on your health history, symptoms, etc., I will recommend specific supplements for your situation. I have supplements available in my office for those I meet with in person, and will send you a link where you can purchase them and have them shipped directly to your doorstep. I want to make it as easy as possible for you!
Do you work with clients virtually?
Yes, I am currently working with clients in-person and virtually.
Can You Help Me Get Off My Medications?
Legally, I am not able to give any advice on your medications. I always leave this to the expertise of your doctor.
Will I Have Access to the Resource Library, Email Support, and the Weekly Q&As when I’m Done with My Membership?
You will only have access to these resources while you are a current member of either the Functional Nutrition or Wellness membership.
Can I cancel my 3-month functional nutrition membership?
If you cancel within 48 hours of your first scheduled appointment, you will be only charged the $150 non-refundable deposit, and if you send an email to nutritionaltherapy@deliciouslyorganic.net we can cancel your membership for you. After having your initial 1.5 hour appointment with Carrie, you cannot cancel your membership and will be charged the additional two monthly payments.
