A winter citrus caprese salad is a fun way to brighten up your table during the colder months.

Winter Citrus Caprese Salad

If you haven’t had burrata before, I highly recommend giving it a try! It’s a fresh cheese that on the outside looks like mozzarella, but when you cut into it, out comes a pillow of curds and cream. It’s absolutely delicious!

For the most flavor, I like to let the burrata sit for about 30 minutes at room temperature before serving. And, if you can’t find burrata, a fresh mozzarella would work as great substitute.
