Orange creamsicle gummies are such a fun snack for adults and kids alike! These little gems combine fresh orange juice, vanilla, cream, honey, and grass-fed gelatin for a treat that feels indulgent but is actually made with real, wholesome ingredients.

Orange Creamsicle Gummies

How to Make These Homemade Gummies

Making these is simpler than you might think! Start by sprinkling the gelatin over the orange juice and letting it bloom. Then add the honey and warm everything over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the honey and gelatin are fully dissolved. Stir in the cream and vanilla, let the mixture cool, and pour it into your molds. That’s it!

The ingredients you’ll need for orange creamsicle gummies recipe

  • Fresh orange juice
  • Vanilla extract
  • Heavy cream
  • Honey
  • Unflavored grass-fed gelatin

What mold do I use for homemade gummies

You have a couple of options here! You can pour the mixture into a lightly oiled 8×8 pan, or use a candy mold. Since the liquid cools before going into the refrigerator, I feel comfortable using a silicone mold, but if you prefer to avoid silicone altogether, the square pan works perfectly.

Can I make these gummies dairy-free?

Absolutely! Simply swap the heavy cream for coconut cream. Just keep in mind that it will add a hint of coconut flavor. Make sure you’re using full-fat coconut cream rather than a coconut beverage. My go-to recommendation is Native Forest.

Ingredients

Units
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons unflavored grass-fed gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons honey (I like to use a light honey like this one)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbs heavy cream or full-fat coconut cream

Instructions

Place the juice in a medium saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin over the top of the juice and let it bloom for 5 minutes. Add the honey and heat over medium-low, stirring constantly until the honey and gelatin are fully dissolved. Whisk in the cream and vanilla. Let cool for about 15 minutes. Pour into molds and then chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours until set. Remove from the molds and then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

DELICIOUS!!!! And so easy!! I have a small juicer so I made fresh OJ but you could use store bought OJ. My adult son even asked, mom are you going to make more gummies? It’s a great slightly sweet snack that’s good for your gut as well. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

These look delicious! I can't wait to try them. Do you have any nutritional info on this recipe? Let's say I am able to find the mold like the one you have in the photo, what would a good serving size be? Is this a snack that is good for, or would help with hypothyroidism? How long will they last in the refrigerator?

I don't have nutritional info, but you are welcome to load it into a free app like, MyFitnessPal for any info you need! I wouldn't say it directly "helps with hypo", but it's a fun snack to have that is very healthy! I'd say about 6-8 would be a good serving.
